Everything you need to know!
What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is the use of creating art and creative processes in a therapeutic setting to express feelings and explore experiences.
Through the engagement with art materials and the creative process, I support clients to explore and express ideas, thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to articulate into words.
It is holistic practice that attends to emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual well-being.
I’m not “good” at art!
No art experience is needed to join in. Art Therapy offers a safe, welcoming space where you can explore creativity at your own pace.
Making art helps you heal by giving you a way to express feelings, calm your mind, and find relaxation. It also opens the door to connect with others in a meaningful way.
One of the beautiful things about Art Therapy is that it’s often enjoyable, making it easier to discover and practice new, healthy ways of being through creative play.
What is the process?
